Residents of Rangwe Constituency turned out in large numbers on Sunday to benefit from a medical outreach programme held at Bondo Primary School.
The event was attended by Ouma Oluga and was organised by Seventh-day Adventist Church in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute of Kenya and the Homa Bay County Government.
The outreach offered services including general medical consultations and cancer screening as part of efforts to promote preventive healthcare and improve access to medical services at the community level.
Also present was Elias Nelly, alongside other health officials.
Organisers said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to bring essential health services closer to residents and enhance early detection of diseases.
