NAIROBI, KENYA — Popular digital content creator and car dealer Isaac Otesa is recovering in hospital following a serious road accident that occurred in Ruaka on Sunday evening.
According to reports, Otesa—widely known as “Goliath wa Bungoma”—was involved in a head-on collision after another motorist allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road, striking his vehicle. The crash left him with a significant injury to his right leg.
Good Samaritans at the scene helped pull him from the wreckage before he was rushed to The Nairobi Hospital, where he is currently receiving specialized treatment.
In a statement released on Monday, his management, in collaboration with Car Soko, confirmed that he is in stable condition.
“Our brand ambassador, Goliath wa Bungoma, was involved in an accident in the Ruaka area caused by a vehicle driving against traffic. He is currently stable and receiving the best possible medical care for a leg injury,” the statement read.
The incident has reignited concerns over road safety along the busy Ruaka–Ndenderu stretch, with residents pointing to a rise in dangerous “wrong-way” driving, particularly during peak traffic hours.
Authorities have since launched investigations to identify the driver responsible and determine the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether impairment played a role.
