Education and development stakeholders have been urged to support government efforts aimed at ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
The Director of Education in Likoni Constituency, Josiah Kilei, said collaboration between the government, development partners and local communities is key to improving education access for children.
Speaking at Likoni School for Learners with Special Needs, Kilei noted that some students continue to face challenges such as limited resources and inadequate learning environments.
He emphasized that joint efforts are necessary to address these challenges and ensure that no child is denied the opportunity to access education.
Kilei further urged education stakeholders to actively support education projects, provide learning materials, and back government initiatives aimed at strengthening the education sector.
Meanwhile, the school’s head teacher Elizabeth Ngare said support from various stakeholders has helped improve the learning environment at the institution.
Ngare noted that the assistance has enabled teachers to provide essential learning materials and better support students with special needs.
She added that the support has significantly contributed to improving education standards at the school while motivating learners to remain focused on their studies.
