Zetech Oaks have been crowned 2026 Driftwood 7s Division II champions after producing a dominant display to defeat Stallions 29-7 in the final at Mombasa Sports Club on Sunday.
The university side controlled the contest from the opening whistle, combining attacking quality with disciplined defence to take command of the final.
Zetech crossed the try line five times, with their clinical finishing and effective support play putting Stallions under constant pressure. Despite managing to score once, Stallions struggled to break through a well-organised Oaks defence.
The victory capped an impressive tournament campaign for Zetech, who maintained consistency throughout the pool and knockout stages.
Strong set-piece execution, quick support play and decisive finishing proved crucial as the Oaks marched through the competition and secured their place in the Division II final.
The 29-7 triumph not only handed Zetech Oaks the Division II crown but also earned them promotion to the main division, marking a major milestone for the university side.
