The Kilifi County Health Strategic Plan development workshop has successfully concluded after a series of engagements that brought together stakeholders from across the health sector.
The sessions involved discussions, presentations and consultations aimed at shaping a comprehensive and responsive roadmap for the county’s health sector.
Participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening healthcare systems, improving access to quality and affordable services, and enhancing preventive and promotive health interventions for residents of Kilifi County.
According to the organizers, the consultative approach ensured that diverse perspectives were captured, helping to develop a strategic plan that reflects the needs and priorities of communities across the county.
The workshop was coordinated by the Kilifi County Department of Health and Sanitation Services, which brought together health experts, county officials and development partners.
As the process moves to the next phase, the department has pledged to continue working closely with partners and stakeholders to finalize and implement the strategic plan.
Officials noted that the initiative aims to advance better health outcomes, strengthen the county’s healthcare system and improve service delivery for all residents of Kilifi County.
