MOMBASA — The Global NGO Stakeholders Summit 2026 was officially launched on Monday morning at the Westerwelle Foundation offices in Mombasa, bringing together journalists, NGO stakeholders, and government representatives.
The launch formally announced the international summit scheduled to take place from April 22 to 24, 2026, at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, where more than 2,500 participants from Kenya, Africa, and across the globe are expected to attend.
Speaking during the launch, the Chairperson of the Global NGO Stakeholders Summit 2026, Mr. Tuva Adams Tuva, said the forum is designed to move conversations beyond theory and into practical action.
“This summit is a unique platform where discussions will be translated into real action by strengthening collaboration between governments, NGOs, the private sector, donors, academia, and communities,” Tuva said.
He emphasized that the summit will focus on long-term impact and sustainability within the development sector.
“We want this gathering to be a catalyst for honest conversations on the sustainability of development projects and the future of the NGO sector in Kenya, across Africa, and globally,” he added.
Organizers noted that the summit will also provide opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and building strategic partnerships aimed at advancing inclusive and sustainable development.
The Global NGO Stakeholders Summit 2026 is expected to position Kenya as a leading hub for global development dialogue while reinforcing the critical role of NGOs in driving social and economic transformation.
