Government Reaffirms Commitment to Education Access, Drought Response and Economic Stability

The government has reaffirmed its commitment to education access, drought mitigation, economic stability, and public service reforms, as outlined by Government Spokesperson Hon. (Dr.) Isaac Mwaura during his weekly press briefing held on Monday at the Harambee Annex Media Centre.

Government Moves to Support Grade 10 Transition

Dr. Mwaura acknowledged that a number of students have yet to report to school under the Grade 10 transition, noting that the government is prioritizing their return. He said several financial support mechanisms are being deployed, including presidential and ministerial bursaries, as well as funding from Members of Parliament and county governments.
