A thrilling day of football unfolded at Nyayo National Stadium as Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC secured their places in the final of the Mozzart Bet Cup after dramatic penalty shootout victories in the semi-finals.
The first semi-final saw Tusker FC battle KCB FC in a tightly contested match that ended 0-0 in regulation time. Despite both sides creating chances, neither team managed to break the deadlock, forcing the game into penalties.
Tusker held their nerve during the shootout, edging KCB 4-3 on penalties to book a place in the final and keep alive their hopes of lifting the prestigious domestic cup.
In the second semi-final played at the same venue, Kenya Police FC and Bandari FC also played out a goalless draw in a tense and physical encounter.
With neither side able to find the breakthrough after 90 minutes, the match was decided from the spot kicks. Kenya Police proved more composed in the decisive moments, defeating Bandari 5-3 on penalties to progress to the final.
The results now set up a blockbuster Mozzart Bet Cup final between Tusker FC and Kenya Police FC, scheduled for 14th June 2026 at Kwale Stadium.
The final carries huge significance, as the winner will earn the honor of representing Kenya in the prestigious CAF Confederation Cup next season.
