Shadrack Mwangolo Mwadime conducted an outreach visit to Mwatate and Taveta as part of ongoing government initiatives under the Kenya Kwanza initiative.
In Mwatate, Mr. Mwadime met with residents to discuss local issues and provide updates on government programs aimed at improving skills development and employment opportunities for caregivers, students, and workers.
“It’s essential that we maintain clear communication and approachability in leadership,” he said, urging residents to participate in training programs and provide feedback.
Later, the team visited Kimorigo in Taveta, a community affected by recent flooding. Food and essential supplies were distributed to affected households as part of relief efforts.
Mr. Mwadime emphasized the importance of inclusion in government projects, stating, “Government projects are intended to benefit everyone, and we urge residents to engage constructively to ensure their voices are heard in development processes.”
The visit also included discussions on ongoing programs in skills development and local employment, with a focus on responding to immediate community needs such as flood relief and support for vulnerable populations.
