Fred Matiang’i, a presidential aspirant under the Jubilee Party, joined members of the Muslim community for an Iftar gathering at Kongowea Estate in Nyali Constituency, Mombasa County.
The event, held during the holy month of Ramadan, brought together local leaders, community members and Jubilee Party officials to share a meal and reflect on the values of unity and compassion.
The Iftar was hosted by Yassir Noor, the Jubilee Party Organizing Secretary and a Nyali Constituency aspirant. The gathering was also attended by Jubilee leaders from the Coast region and the area Member of County Assembly.
Speaking during the event, Matiang’i highlighted the importance of unity, brotherhood and service to the community, especially during the holy season.
“This is a special time for reflection, compassion and supporting the vulnerable members of our society,” Matiang’i said.
He also wished Muslims across the country well during the fasting period.
“May this holy season renew our hearts with gratitude, good health and a deeper commitment to caring for one another,” he added.
The former Interior Cabinet Secretary concluded by extending his greetings to the Muslim faithful, wishing them a blessed Ramadan and Iftar.
