The first cohort of the Talent Identification (Scouting) Training Workshop concluded today at the Kenya Institute of Special Education in Nairobi, marking the end of an intensive three-day program.
The workshop brought together 30 scouts drawn from the Central Football Regions, who underwent hands-on training focused on modern scouting methods and effective talent identification.
The program was delivered under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme and facilitated by FIFA instructor Faisal Chibsah, with coordination by the Football Kenya Federation Technical Department.
With Cohort 1 successfully completed, attention now turns to Cohort 2, which is scheduled to begin on Monday in Mombasa as the nationwide rollout of the scouting program continues.
