President William Ruto has announced that the upgrade of the Dagoretti Sub-County Level IV Hospital at Mutuini in Nairobi County is nearing completion, one year after the Government committed to transforming the facility.

“We committed to upgrade the Dagoretti Sub-County Level IV Hospital at Mutuini, Nairobi. We are pleased, one year later, that the medical facility is near completion,” the President said.

He assured residents that the Government will complete and fully equip the 400-bed hospital before officially handing it over next month to serve the people of Dagoretti South Constituency.

“We will complete it and equip the 400-bed facility, and hand it over next month to guarantee the people of Dagoretti South accessible, quality and affordable medical care,” President Ruto stated.

The Head of State inspected the ongoing construction works at the Dagoretti Sub-County Level IV Hospital–Mutuini, describing the project as part of the broader effort to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve service delivery across the country.

Once operational, the upgraded facility is expected to significantly enhance access to quality healthcare services for thousands of residents in Dagoretti South and surrounding areas.
