President William Ruto has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with Members of County Assemblies (MCAs), describing them as indispensable partners in Kenya’s national development agenda and a critical link between grassroots aspirations and national policy-making.
Speaking during the annual County Assemblies Forum, the President outlined what he termed a bold and transformative vision for the country, anchored on unity of purpose, fiscal responsibility, and accelerated socio-economic growth.
President Ruto rallied MCAs to support the proposed National Infrastructure Fund, saying the initiative will provide a sustainable financing mechanism for transformative development projects, including roads, airports, dams, irrigation schemes, and electricity connectivity across the country.
