Manchester — Manchester United secured a hard-fought 1–0 win over Everton in a closely contested English Premier League clash yesterday, thanks to a decisive strike from Benjamin Šeško in the 71st minute.
The first half ended goalless, with both teams struggling to create clear-cut chances. Everton defended in a compact shape, while Manchester United controlled possession but lacked precision in the final third.
The breakthrough came in the second half when Šeško finished a well-crafted team move, giving United the lead. Despite Everton’s late attempts to equalize, the Red Devils held firm to claim all three points.
The victory lifts Manchester United back into fourth place in the league standings. Notably, they remain the only unbeaten team in the 2026 Premier League season. Under interim manager Michael Carrick, the squad continues to push hard in their bid to return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
