Senate candidate for Kilifi County in the 2027 General Elections, Stephen Karisa Kahocho, has held a consultative meeting with online content creators in Malindi Constituency as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between political leadership and the digital space.

Addressing the gathering, Kahocho underscored the growing influence of digital platforms in shaping public discourse, noting that content creators play a critical role in connecting leaders with young people and the wider community.

He described the engagement as timely and meaningful, saying that creative voices are central to driving positive change in society.

“Today, I am truly delighted to engage with Kilifi County content creators. Your creativity, influence, and dedication play a vital role in shaping conversations and inspiring positive change. Together, we can build a future that reflects the voice and aspirations of every citizen,” Kahocho said.

The Senate hopeful emphasized the importance of inclusive leadership, stating that his vision is anchored on ensuring that all segments of society are represented and heard.

“We believe in an all-inclusive approach where every vote counts. From the grassroots to the creative industry — our farmers, teachers, artisans, and content creators — we are building a movement that brings everyone on board,” he added.

Content creators who attended the meeting acknowledged the growing power of digital media, noting that online platforms continue to influence public opinion and shape social and political narratives, especially among the youth.

Kahocho further highlighted the role of technology and innovation as key drivers of social and economic development in Kilifi County. He called for sustained collaboration between leaders and digital creators to ensure that online influence is used responsibly and effectively for the benefit of the wider community.

The meeting forms part of Kahocho’s broader outreach strategy as he positions himself ahead of the 2027 polls, with a focus on youth engagement, innovation, and inclusive development.
