The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has announced a major recruitment exercise, inviting applications for 33 positions across various departments as the anti-graft agency moves to strengthen its operational capacity in investigations, public education, asset recovery, and support services.

In a public notice, the commission said interested candidates have until Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to submit their applications through its online recruitment platform.

The vacancies cut across professional, technical, administrative, and subordinate cadres, reflecting the commission’s efforts to enhance service delivery and boost its anti-corruption mandate.

Among the positions advertised are six Driver II posts and six Office Assistant III positions, which constitute the largest intake in the exercise. Other openings include Senior Prevention Officer (Civil Engineer), Senior Security Officer, Research Officer II, Human Resource Officer II, Accounts Assistant I, Administrative Secretary II, and Paralegal Clerk II.

The commission is also seeking specialized Prevention Officers in procurement, law, accounting, and monitoring and evaluation, alongside Education Officers focusing on digital media, communications, and production.

The recruitment comes at a time when the commission has intensified efforts to combat corruption and economic crimes, with increasing emphasis on public awareness, prevention strategies, and recovery of illegally acquired assets.

According to the notice, all applications must be submitted electronically. Applicants are required to access the EACC recruitment portal, complete the prescribed application form, and upload copies of their national identification cards, detailed curriculum vitae, academic and professional certificates, and other relevant testimonials.

The commission emphasized that applications submitted after the June 23 deadline will not be considered.

EACC further reiterated its commitment to equal opportunity employment, stating that all qualified Kenyans are encouraged to apply regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, or background.

The anti-graft body warned applicants against canvassing, noting that any attempt to influence the recruitment process would lead to automatic disqualification.

Successful candidates who make it to the shortlist will be required to comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution by presenting clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

The recruitment drive comes amid expanded anti-corruption operations by the commission, which has in recent months stepped up investigations and prosecutions targeting graft in public institutions, land offices, county governments, and state agencies.

EACC officials say strengthening human resources remains critical to enhancing the commission’s capacity to prevent corruption, conduct investigations, promote integrity, and safeguard public resources.
