Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front, has expressed support for James Orengo over his continued calls for clarity on the circumstances surrounding the death of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a church service at PCEA Utawala on Sunday, February 22, 2026, Kalonzo said Governor Orengo has consistently raised critical questions since Raila’s passing and should not be dismissed.
“James Orengo has been speaking since Raila left us. He has many questions, and he was very categorical. He said Raila was killed,” Kalonzo stated.
The Wiper leader called for a comprehensive and independent inquiry to address the unresolved concerns, arguing that only a thorough inquest would help establish the truth and bring closure to the nation.
“In order to deal with this lingering issue, I would suggest a thorough inquest so that Kenyans can know the truth,” Kalonzo said.
Orengo’s remarks on the matter have sparked national debate, drawing mixed reactions from political leaders and the public as calls for accountability and transparency continue to grow.
